What JobsBoard stores about you, why, and how to remove it.

Browsing jobs

You can browse and search jobs without an account. We don't sell data or run advertising trackers.

Your account

If you sign in we store your email address, and anything you choose to add: your resume (the text, extracted from the file you upload), your job preferences, a writing sample, and API keys you create. Your resume is used to match you to jobs, run the ATS check and draft applications. It is never shown to employers or other users.

The free resume check

Resumes checked on the resume check page without signing in are processed once and not stored.

Weekly job alerts

If you sign up for job alerts we store your email address and the optional filters you picked (industry, department, region), and use them only to send you the weekly email of new jobs. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link; after you unsubscribe we stop emailing you.

AI features

When you ask for a cover letter or tailored resume, the relevant job description and your resume text are sent to our AI provider (DeepSeek) to write the draft. If you connect an AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT and others) through our MCP server, that assistant sees the results of the tools it calls, under its own provider's terms.

Service providers

Hosting and database (Railway, Supabase), email delivery (Resend), payments (Stripe; we never see your card number), and AI drafting (DeepSeek).

Deleting your data

Delete your account any time from Resume & preferences. That removes your resume, preferences, keys, AI connections and application history. Questions: [email protected].
